I’m going grocery shopping tomorrow and I want to make different dinners this week. We usually eat tacos, skirt steak, fried chicken/fish, meatball subs, spaghetti, and fried pork chops.
Does anyone have a recipe for homemade chicken and dumplings? My mom used to make it and the dumplings were big, moist and fluffy on the inside. My friend makes it using cream of chix soup but I remember it as more of a broth with dumplings instead.
Also, does anyone make Porkchops w/cream of mushroom soup in an oven bag? I had made it years ago and I remember the soup would turn into a porkchop sauce and the chops would turn out “fall-off-the-bone” tender.
Please list any yummy recipes! I enjoy cooking meals from scratch so don’t hold back on a recipe (I’m not one of those quick fix/shortcut meals kinda mom) :) I’m talking corn beef and cabbage, beef barley or broccoli cheddar soup, crockpot type of stuff….Anyone have a recipe for the above mentioned by the way??
Thanks for the help and please list the ingredients I’ll need to buy.

I am a gourmet cook. All my meals are very appealing to adults, because ya know, the spices, the steamed veggies, the flaming hot fish with sauces glaore, ect. ect.
My husbamd also loves it to. But unfortunantley kids arent as out going with meals as adults are. They don’t like anything I cook, and I have never made just plain spaghetti, or plain mac & cheese. It’s just not me. But thats what my 4 and 6 year old seem to want. I’ve been doing it now for a while, but it just feels weird, cooking somthing not by me, that boring and plain. I don’t want to continue to cook like this forever for my kids, because i’ve heard when kids get older they want new food, and if we have kind of a schedule of always eating plain stuff, I might not want to get home from work and then cook somthing gormet again. So what can I make thats creative and kid friendley? And for all meals:

Dinner
Lunch
Breakfast
Dessert ( occasioanlly)

At the Asian restaurants Ichibon and Samurai (basically the same place) whenever I order hibachi steak, it comes with these fried vegetables (they might be sauted or something…) that taste like they’re in teriyaki or soy sauce. the vegetables are zucchini and onions, maybe asian spaghetti (idk) and some other ones that might be lettuce or cabbage or something. Does anyone know a recipe for something like this?

Thanks :)

Greek Spaghetti?

I saw it on t.v. but I don’t remember what show it was on.

So , supposing I just didn’t make a sauce and used classico (but I am sure there was a recipe for homeade sauce) you put the sauce in a deep frying pan, you throw in parmesan cheese when it is heated. you pour the sauce delicately in a big tossing bowl of spaghetti (or spaghettini) then you add a stick of browned butter, and you use these things which look like door stoppers to toss it all up.

Does anyone know the recipe and does it sound good? Anything else I should know? Maybe for those who have some expertise in cooking…I would REALLY appreciate any feedback.

BTW could I just use the parmesan that you sprinkle from the container, I don’t have fresh in the house?
I have sweet Basil so that is perfect
